Belema Ladapo is a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She holds a Masters Degree in International Law from the University of Westminster, London and a Bachelors Degree in Law from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

She has bee actively involved in human Rights advocacy and research in Nigeria and internationally through her work with the Nigerian Bar Association and the Extra-Territorial Obligations Consortium Geneva, Switzerland. Her legal work engages her in the preparation of transactional documentation in corporate and commercial practice. She also worked in the office of the Solicitor General, Ministry of Justice, Bayelsa State.

Belema is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK.
