Boma is a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court in Nigeria. He is a member of the Section on Business Law Committee on Energy and Natural Resources NBA, Pioneer Member of Young Lawyers Committee, The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) (CIArb), International Centre Dispute Resolution (ICDR) Young & International (Associate).

Having engaged in active legal practice with some leading law firms in Nigeria, and worked in the office of the Attorney General of Bayelsa state in Nigeria, he has a thorough understanding of the Nigerian legal terrain as he has acted on behalf of the State on different occasions, at the different levels of court and during negotiations. Boma has extensive experience in real estate both in Nigeria and Canada.

He has a Masters degree from the prestigious York University, Toronto, Canada; having specialized in Infrastructure and Energy Law, Business Law, Banking and Financial Services Law.

He has also had the experience of working with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, Canada, where he gained exposure as the regulator in both the mortgage and insurance sectors.
